College dorm life for guys

I have enjoyed college tremendously. I like dorm living alot. Ther is always someone around- and people to do things with . I have a a great roomate who is a very fun guy, but also a real friend. I am not shy aobut most things likecommunal showering, nudity but one thing bothers me alot. The toilets have no partitions and sinks and mirrors right across from them. Some guys do not mind it one bit and can carry on conversations as if they were in the lounge. I wish the college, which I think is genererously endowed, would invest in wood partitions. It is an older dorm. Other than that one pet peeve-- college is a great and rewarding experience! And I kow I am a lucky person to have this privelge!

in my college dorm experience, all the toilets had partitions around them. however i stayed in two different frat houses during summer sessions, and both had several toilets in the open in the bathroom. i thought it was very strange, but you can get used to anything. my room mate and best friend got even closer that summer, looking each other in the eyes while doing the most personal thing imaginable together! i really don't think it's appropriate in a dorm, however "generously endowed" the college is. i would complain.
